How long does it take to get flooring?
In-stock carpet, carpet tile and luxury vinyl plank in Thayne can usually be installed within a week. Special-order products from Shaw, Mohawk, COREtec and our hardwood brands typically arrive in one to three weeks. Tile and cabinets run two to six weeks depending on the line. We give you a date when you order.
Is there a minimum order?
No minimum for in-stock product. One room, one closet or one stair runner is fine. Some special-order items are sold by the full carton or roll, and we will tell you if that applies to your choice.
Can I take samples home?
Yes, and we encourage it. Samples are free to borrow from either store. For larger projects we can bring samples to your home or job site. Seeing a sample in your own light is the best way to choose.
What is the difference between in-stock and special order?
In-stock flooring is sitting in our Thayne warehouse today. We keep carpet, carpet tile and LVP in stock in popular colors. Special order gives you access to the full catalogs of every brand we carry, with more colors and styles, but it takes longer to arrive. See what is in stock at /in-stock-flooring/.
How much does flooring cost per square foot installed?
As a general range in our area, installed carpet runs about 4 to 11 dollars per square foot, luxury vinyl plank about 8 to 12, laminate about 6 to 8, hardwood about 15 to 23, and tile about 12 to 25. Removal, subfloor work and stairs add to that. Use the instant estimator for a number specific to your project.
Do you offer financing?

What warranty comes with my floor?
Every product carries the manufacturer warranty, which ranges from 10 years to lifetime depending on the brand and line. We give you the warranty document with your invoice. Our installation is warranted by us: if something we installed comes loose or was done wrong, we fix it.
How long does installation take?
Most single rooms are done in one day. A whole-house carpet or LVP job is usually two to four days. Hardwood and tile take longer because of acclimation, cure times and finishing. We schedule the work with you and tell you how long we expect to be in the house.
What area do you serve?
We install throughout Star Valley, including Thayne, Afton, Alpine, Etna, Freedom, Smoot and Star Valley Ranch, plus Jackson Hole, Wilson and Teton Village, Teton Valley including Victor and Driggs, Montpelier, and Pinedale. If you are a little outside that, call and ask.
Do you sell and install cabinets too?
Yes. We carry Kemper and MasterBrand semi-custom cabinets for kitchens, baths, laundry rooms and mudrooms. We design the layout, order the cabinets and install them, and we can plan the flooring at the same time so the two work together.
